We will inform you about the location of the Meeting Point at the departure port. In general, the Meeting Point will be at the ticket/check-in counter marked with "PMR", located inside the ferry terminal.
If you travel with your vehicle, the staff responsible for receiving the vehicles will inform you of the Meeting Point. Trasmediterranea has several seats in priority places marked with "SIA", so that people with reduced mobility can be the first to access the ship, unless the company staff at the boarding point believe that another option is better.
If you access the ferry terminal without a vehicle, our identified staff will receive you and take care of you until the ship staff receive you.
In all the cases, you must be at the designated Meeting Point/vehicle area at least 2 hours before the ship's scheduled departure.
We will give you information about the ferry terminal and the assistance service. If you do not want any assistance at the ferry terminal, we will directly establish a time and place for boarding. In any case, you can ask our assistance staff for help at any time.
If you want, the assistance staff can accompany you with your luggage, providing you, if necessary, any additional materials, until the check-in counter. We will also help you with all the necessary check-in processing and security controls, making sure that the details and the specific needs are correct.
When boarding, if you want or need this, the assistance staff will help you to check your boarding card and identity.
Persons with reduced mobility will always board the ship before the other passengers, unless a specific requirement is notified.
If you want or need this, the assistance staff will help you to get off the ship from the gangway and assist you with your luggage, as well as with the port's emigration controls, customs and security using the appropriate resources.
The assistance staff's functions will end once you reach the ferry terminal although, if you request this, our staff will accompany you outside and help you with loading your luggage onto a private car or taxi.
